Banner Search

Students and advisors now have a way to search Banner for courses with low textbook costs. The Low-Cost Materials attribute designates courses that use learning resources (such as textbooks) that total $50 or less for students.

Note that additional materials (such as art supplies, etc.) or lab fees might still be required for Low-Cost Materials courses.

Please see below for how students can search for Low-Cost Materials courses

  1. Log on to Banner
  2. Click "Search for Classes"
  3. Select term if prompted
  4. Scroll down to Attribute Type
  5. Under Attribute Type select "Low Cost Materials" option
  6. Click "Class Search" to see all class sections using low-cost materials and/or OER
