Changes to Accessible Entrance, First Floor Elevator

by Katie Bertel on 2018-10-19T15:31:00-04:00 in Renovation | Comments
As construction of the Academic Commons progresses, navigation of the library's first floor is changing. Starting Monday, October 22nd the first-floor ramp from the main (west) entrance to the lower lobby will no longer be accessible. Those in need of a barrier-free entry to the library should use the StudyQuad (south) entrance. Once work begins on the Plaza (west) entrance, the StudyQuad entrance will be the only public entrance to the library.
Access to the elevator will remain available by entering through the StudyQuad (south) entrance and proceeding north, adjacent to the Quiet Quad. See the image below for a detailed overview of the changes.
