ENG160 - Introduction to Literature & Film

Every film has its own DNA. The job of the writer who takes up the study of a film is to understand that movie’s particular complex structure. In a general way, we can get a sense of just how complex the structure of a feature film is by watching closing credits and seeing the rolling multitude of names of people who worked on the movie. A film is composed of intricacies of involvement and complex orchestration of tasks that result in the unique structure of the particular movie.
