Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated between September 15 and October 15 each year. The month is devoted to recognizing the achievements and contributions of Hispanic and Latino/a/x people. At Butler Library, we have created an Hispanic Heritage Month LibGuide that highlights databases, journals, and books in our collection that focus on this community. Items in this collection are also browsable. Check out our book display on the first floor, too!
You are invited to join the Social Justice Book Club this fall as we read Everything for Everyone: An Oral History of the New York Commune, 2052-2072. Anyone interested in joining the book club should fill out this form. The book club meets September 4 and 18, October 2 and 23, and November 6 and 20, from 12:20 to 1:20pm in Bacon 223. The book club is free and open to all Buffalo State students, faculty, and staff. While supplies last, a free copy of the book is available to all registered student participants. This program is made possible with support from E. H. Butler Library, the Muriel A. Howard Honors Program, Student Leadership and Engagement, and Equity and Campus Diversity.
