Description

Butler Library Study rooms are unmediated and unlocked. Any Buffalo State College student can use the study rooms, but priority is given to students with an online reservation. Students can book study rooms for one hour at a time, with a maximum duration of two hours. Students are also limited to a maximum of four hours a week and four reservations a month. Students using a study room, but do not have a reservation must vacate the room when a student with a reservation confirmation arrives. The person who made the reservations must be present to show the confirmation.

Terms & Conditions

All students who use the study rooms are responsible for the following:

  • Furniture must stay in the room, and furniture may not be removed or added to the study rooms. 
  • Please keep the room tidy and take any trash to the appropriate receptacle outside of the room. 
  • Please keep whiteboards clean, and erase any markings once you are done using them.
  • Please be aware that loud conversations can be heard outside the rooms. Please be considerate.
  • Please do not leave personal items unattended. The library is not responsible for any thefts.

To receive a confirmed room reservation, please book 12 hours in advance. Rooms can be reserved for up to two hours.
