The Library is excited to offer a new course this fall: LIB 389 / WGS 389: Social Justice Through Zines.
Taught by Dr. Julie Setele, the course examines social justice movements through the lens of zines (self-published, DIY works). Students will study zines in the library collection and create their own zines.
Sign up for the course using CRN 3412. The course is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:05-4:20 PM. Contact Julie for more information.
PLEASE TAKE THE FACULTY TEXTBOOK & OER USAGE SURVEY: This six-to-eight-minute survey is designed to collect information on faculty trends using textbooks and open educational resources (OER). The results collected will provide quantitative data to analyze future textbook affordability initiatives. It will also assist Butler Library with OER programming that supports open pedagogy. All responses are anonymous. Click Here!
A curated collection of resources related to reproductive justice, the Black feminist social movement that calls for the right to bodily self-autonomy, the right to have children, the right to not have children, and the right to raise one's children in safe and sustainable communities. The resources are organized by theme.
Butler Library can support your research needs no matter where you are. Librarians are available to answer questions via chat, email, phone, and text during Ask Us service hours.
