Hoopla

Getting started with Hoopla:

You can access Hoopla via a web browser, or using the Hoopla app (available in iTunes and the Play Store). Hoopla offers a wide range of eBooks, eAudiobooks, videos and music albums – available for immediate checkout or instant streaming - with no waiting lists! Read thousands of digital comics, graphic novels and manga series from multiple publishers—all available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  

Buffalo and Erie County Public Library allows for five rentals per month. At the beginning of each month you will get five new rentals.

Below you will see how to access Hoopla via a web browser.

Begin by going to Hoopla's Website:

Enter Buffalo and Erie Co Library into the search box if it has not self populated.

Choose Buffalo Library

Next you will enter your library card number, email address, and create a password.
You can now search Hoopla's catalog to find what you are looking for.

Click the "Borrow" button to borrow the item. REMEMBER: You can borrow 5 (five) items a month.

After you click "Borrow," the button will now say "Read." Clicking on  it will open the reader.
