E. H. Butler Library hosts the largest open computer labs on campus, with a variety of technologies and services available:
- Approximately 160 PCs & 20 Macs
- Three black-and-white printers, three color printers/copiers, four black-and-white copiers.
- Two scanners for academic-related projects.
- New All-In-One PCs with 23” monitors
- An Assistive Technology Lab with equipment and software for patrons with disabilities.
- Wireless network access throughout the library.
More than technology
In addition to the latest technologies, Butler Library provides expert help with your computer or research questions. Stop by the Help Desk in the Information Commons room to consult with a reference librarian or computing specialist. Butler Library’s Equipment Loan service, also located in the Information Commons, provides a variety of items for checkout including laptops, tablets, and audio/video equipment.
Group Study Rooms
Looking for a meeting place for group project work? StudyQuad 110A and 110B offer technology-enabled workspace furniture, including a table with embedded hardware and interactive technology to encourage collaborative group work. StudyQuad lounge has one group study room with a table and a large, flatscreen TV with a USB port. Book these rooms in advance using our convenient online booking system.
