Selecting the Right Journal to Publish In
There are a number of tools to use when selecting which journal you want to send your manuscript to. Many times, articles are composed specifically for a publication or on request from a journal's editor. But what if you are not sure which journal works best for you? The following are some tools that you can use to search for journals based on your abstract, keyword, or bibliometrics.

Edanz Journal SelectorA proprietary website that helps find journals to publish in. Enter a description or an abstract of your article, the system would find possible journals that have published relevant papers. It searches over 28,652 journals. Edanz is a company established in Japan. It helps researchers publish in international journals.

JANE: Journal / Author Name EstimatorThis is supported by the Biosematics Group; created and maintained by Martijn Schuemie. The system would match the information you entered with the journals in PubMed. Please note that this tool doesn't search for journals outside the collection of PubMed.

LetPub's Journal SelectorLetPub is a company providing scholarly publishing and editing services. Their "Journal Selector" is a free handy tool for authors to identify journals for publication.
